While earning in six digits does 50 rs matter? for me Yes, it’s priceless.. why?

Let’s move to flashback. It was the beginning of the 21st century, When every child was desperately waiting to spend his summer vacation by going to his favorite place ‘Nani’s house’. Unlike other children, I had hardly been there two or three times before, to spend my holidays there.

“Grandparents, like heroes, are as necessary to a child’s growth as vitamins.” — Joyce Allston

This time I spent some amazing and exciting time with my ‘Nani’ and in just 2 days I started to feel so close that I refused my parents to come back. By staying with them, I knew what a great time I was missing without them. That time, for me the success and career was just to spend more and more time with her. But the truth was that I had to come back because my schools were about to open, soon that day came, when we had to come back and supposed to leave that place and nani too.

“Grandpas always have time for you when everyone else is too busy.”

As per our culture, while returning from relatives house kids get something, which is used to be a craze among every child. I got plenty of luxurious gifts from my Mama, but just before leaving, Nani held my hand and saw me with so loving eyes. She gave a 50 rupee note, which I wanted to deny but seeing her, I couldn’t as she said “please take it my baby”. I was just looking at him and kept crying. We came back from there, but I kept crying the whole day.

“Some of the world’s best educators are grandparents.” — Dr. Charlie W. Shedd

What is there in that 50 rupee note that I was filled with tears while writing this article today. It was his love that didn’t let me separate. I can’t forget that till now.

That moment changed the way we look at relationships. It is not just that 50rs an elder gave to the younger one but it shows unbreakable bonds between them. I wish I could be the same for my little ones.

“Love is the greatest gift that one generation can leave to another.”— Richard Garnett

Everyone needs a strong relationship from their Parents and Grandparents. Also, in this difficult time of the epidemic we need to support your loved one more. They need a strong bond, like mine with that 50 rupee note.

“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.”

stay home, stay safe !!! 🙂🙂🙂
